Room Facilities

Balcony — [ˈbælkəni] — An outdoor space connected to the room; balkons
Example:  We enjoyed the view from the balcony while drinking coffee.

Safe — [seɪf] — A secure box with a lock to store valuables; seifs
Example:  I stored my passport and valuables in the safe for security.

Room service — [ruːm ˈsɜːvɪs] — Service where hotel staff bring food or drinks to your room; numura apkalpošana

Hotel Amenities and Services
 

Hotel amenities — [həʊˈtɛl əˈmɛnɪtiz] — Extra services and features provided by a hotel to make a guest's stay more enjoyable. Amenities are usually outside the room and can include things like a swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurant, parking, and business center; viesnīcas ērtības

Housekeeping — [ˈhaʊskiːpɪŋ] — The staff responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel rooms, changing linens, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel; apkopēji
Example:  Housekeeping came every day to tidy up our room.

Laundry service — [ˈlɔːndri ˈsɜːvɪs] — Service where the hotel washes and irons clothes; veļas apkalpošana
Example:  We used the hotel's laundry service to clean our clothes during our stay.


Breakfast buffet — [ˈbrɛkfəst bʊˈfeɪ] — A self-serve breakfast with a variety of food options; brokastu bufete
Example:  The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of hot and cold dishes.

Spa — [spɑː] — A place to relax with massages, saunas, and other treatments; spa
Example:  We spent the afternoon at the spa, enjoying a relaxing massage.
