Why Some Role Models Do Not Inspire?

In our society, many people look for role models to help guide them. But not all role models are good to follow. Sometimes, famous people show bad behaviour that makes others not want to admire them. For example, Lance Armstrong was once a great cyclist. But he lied about taking drugs. This made many people lose trust in him. They felt disappointed because he was not honest.
Another example is Donald Trump. Some say he is too proud and rude. He acts like he is better than others. This makes people feel upset. Young people especially want role models who are kind and respectful. When someone is full of ego, it is hard to look up to them.
Celebrities like Justin Bieber have also been criticised. Some of his actions in public were not respectful. People wonder why they should admire him when he does things that are not nice. Sometimes, public figures say one thing but do another. This makes people feel they cannot trust them.
Some role models are unfair or mean. They criticise others for their beliefs or skin colour. This behaviour is wrong and makes others not want to follow them. Also, some famous people use their power to get what they want. This makes them seem superficial and not real.
In short, traits like arrogance, dishonesty, disrespect, and hypocrisy can make us dislike role models. We prefer people who are honest, kind, and humble. Good role models show these qualities over time, and we can learn a lot from them.
