Your phone vibrates. A breaking news alert appears on the screen. You open it.
 
Part 2: A Vision Under the Sea

The video starts playing. Images of futuristic underwater buildings appear. The speaker announces: “A new city will be built under the sea. Thousands of people will be invited to live there. The first homes will be completed by 2035.”
You listen to the report again. You know what will happen, and when it will happen. But you don’t know: who will build the city and who will invite the people. Yet, … the report still feels complete and everything is clear.
 
Part 3: Now You Know

You pause the video. You have understood something new: English can be used to talk about the future by focusing on what will be done, not who will do it. This form is called the Future Simple passive.

The Future Simple passive is used to describe future events and plans when the person is not important.
The Future Simple passive is formed: will be + past participle
Examples:
The city will be built under the sea.
