Рис. \(1\). Teenagers

Being young is great. It's the age when you get more freedom and responsibilities, and that's a way to become an adult. You meet new people and start a romantic relationship. You get your first job and spend your first earned money. But youth is not all the bed of roses. Every young person faces lots of different problems. Lots of these problems are deeply rooted in family and family lifestyle.

Sure thing, there are a lot of things to worry about. Drugs, crimes, illnesses, family issues are problems that worry everyone. But still these years are a very good time. They are a period for thinking and feeling, for trying to figure out who you are and what you want in life.

However, I was surprised when I got the survey results from our school. A third of people think that being a teenager is cool. Another third thinks that it’s tiresome. One sixth thinks that it’s difficult and the rest of the people said that it’s okay. So, only \(30\) percent of my classmates consider teenage years exciting. That's not very optimistic.

But they certainly have the point. Modern teenagers are under constant stress about their studies, relationships, family issues, problems at school. So it’s completely understandable if a person feels that way. The majority of teenage problems are relationship problems.

Teens are worrying about romance, friendship, relationships with parents and siblings. Teenage rebellion can be ugly, but it’s a part of growing up and separating from the elderly. Parents should possess themselves and remember that this crazy period won’t last forever. Teenagers should try to look at things from their parents perspective. Our elderly aren’t always right, but not always wrong.
