Articles are divided into two parts: the indefinite articles and the definite article (theme "Articles")
indefinite articles — [ɪnˌdef.ɪ.nət ˈɑː.tɪ.kəl] — nenoteiktais artikuls (a / an)
definite article — [ˌdef.ɪ.nət ˈɑː.tɪ.kəl] — noteiktais artikuls (the)
auxiliary verb — [ɔːɡˈzɪl.i.ə.riˈvɜːb ] — palīgdarbības vārds
Auxiliary verbs are: to be, to have, to do, shall, will, should, would. (theme "To Be")
conjunctions — [kənˈdʒʌŋk.ʃənz] — saikļi
Conjunction is a word such as 'and', 'but', 'while', or 'although' that connects words, phrases, and clauses in a sentence.
Sometimes they are named as linkers.
linkers — [lɪŋk.ərz] — savienotāji, saikļi
vai
linking word — [ˈlɪŋ.kɪŋ ˌwɜːd] — savienotāja vārds
numerals — [njuː.mə.rəlz] — skaitļa vārdi
There are two types of numerals: ordinal and cardinal numbers. (theme "Numbers")
cardinal numbers — [ˈkɑr·dən·əl ˈnʌm·bərz] — pamata skaitļa vārdi
e.g. three (3), one thousand (1000), two hundred forty-eight (248)
ordinal numbers — [ˈɔr·dən·əlˈnʌm·bərz] — kārtas skaitļa vārdi
e.g. first (1st), second (2nd), third (3rd), fifty-seventh (57th)
