My name is Jane. My family lives in a small cottage in Stratford-upon-Avon. I don’t particularly like doing chores, but I’m glad I can help my parents. On Saturdays I clean my bedroom. I wash the floor, dust the shelves and do the laundry.
What I really love is cooking. I cook nearly every day and I don’t get tired of it. I look up new recipes on the Internet and make new dishes. My family usually likes them.
My brother is in charge for doing dishes. He doesn’t like it and hopes that our parents buy a dishwasher someday.
My mom is very keen on baking. She bakes pies, cakes, cookies and buns. I help her prepare the dough sometimes. My dad usually does the groceries. Mom writes the shopping list and dad drives to the supermarket twice a week.
