Study the information about preposition (in/for/about) + -ing.
  
1. If a preposition is followed by a verb, the verb ends in -ing.

Are you interested in working for us?

2. Remember the use of these prepositions + -ing.

Before + -ing
After + -ing
By + -ing
Without + -ing

Before going out, she called Martin.

3. To -ing

To is used as a part of the infinitive (to talk, to see). To can be a preposition. 

We prefer coffee to tea.

If a preposition is followed by a verb, add -ing to the verb.

About meeting, without understanding

I prefer watching sports to playing it.
